The Devil’s Staircase is one of the most popular sections of the long-distance walking route 'The West Highland Way'. With breathtaking views of Buachaille Etive Mòr and the Mamores mountain range, it is easy to see why. You can find the starting point for the walk at Altnafeadh. The climb is in the form of a zig-zag and will take you to the highest point of the West Highland Way at 550 metres and is marked by a small cairn. From the top, those doing the West Highland Way will carry on to Kinlochleven but you can follow the path back down to the starting point.
Location: ///stag.oven.imitate (takes you to the layby for the beginning of the walk)
Top Tip: The track is good underfoot, stony in places and easy to follow but can be very exposed in poor weather.
